I had a hard time deciding between Gaelan and Dino, so consider Dino my little backup.

Friday Night Up Late

I don’t want to keep sounding negative, but was up with Friday night’s Up Late?  There was practically no coverage of the house except for Gaelan’s opening of the boxes.

I sure hope Big Brother doesn’t think we are happy to just watch Mike Goldman crap on for an hour and bombard us with those crappy word games.

World First is Boring

So far, I have to say that the world first of having a mother and daughter in the house has been boring.  So boring in fact that very little of Karen and Krystal’s interactions have been included in the daily shows.  They tried to claim that Karen was chaperoning one of Krystal’s conversations, but I don’t feel that I have been drawn into sharing their secret with them.

Perhaps it might have been smarter of Big Brother to actually tell Michael what the relationship was and then see how uncomfortable the Insider could make things for them without actually making any accusations.

Unforgettable?

Scanning this week’s TV guide this morning, I was surprised to see scheduled for Monday night a program call Big Brother: Unforgettable.  I am assuming at this stage that this will be a replacement for Uncut in light of last year’s controversy.  I hope this doesn’t mean the content has been toned down too much. 

A better name might be Big Brother: Castrated… but we’ll find out in time.

The Insider’s Hunk Challenge

Wow, what a crappy challenge for BB to set Michael.  After asking Michael who he thinks is the most hunky (Jamie) and least hunky (Ashley), BB asks Michael to ensure that these results are enforced in the shortly to be announced line up task for the housemates.  I felt bad for Michael watching him try to arrange the guys.

Is this the best that Big Brother can come up with for the Insider?

David Comes Out

According to the BB website, David has now admitted to the housemates that he is gay.  It looks like his ’secret’ (all four days of it) hasn’t backfired and everyone seems to be kind and accepting.  Camilla initially was upset with the news and felt deceived, but later on she seems cool with it and is shifting into ‘girlfriend’ mode.  David tells her he is attracted to Dino, Michael and most of all Jamie.

Final Three Prediction Coming Up

I don’t like to try and pick the ultimate winner as it’s such an unpredictable thing.  But I don’t mind going on the record for who I think the last three people in the house will be.

I will have my prediction by Sunday, who do you think will make it to the end?

I hope I’m not confusing you.  I am just trying to find a layout for the blog that I will be happy looking at for next few months.

The Hens are Attacking

Not too much developed on last night’s daily show that I didn’t see on Up Late apart from Gaelan’s response to the water on his bed.  Which was quite good.  He didn’t adopt a victim mentality and managed to maintain his status in the house.

Someone with a bad status in the house is Anna.  It seems that she was crying in bed on Monday night.  She attributed this to being unwell.  But with the chatter about her by other people as being a person without much substance, I wouldn’t be surprised if she has overheard some of this and is feeling attacked.

Love Blossoms?

It’s a little embarrassing to watch Camilla’s interests in David grow.  She is obviously quite smitten with him and when she found out that he used to be an international catwalk model she couldn’t help herself.  She went straight over to him on the bed and started stroking his leg!  It was as if to say “back of girls, I found him first.”  I know that sounds cliched, but that was exactly how it was.

David doesn’t seem to mind the attention though.  He seems very comfortable and even managed to put his arm over her in bed on Up Late last night as they drifted off to sleep.

I wonder how Camilla is going to feel when she finds out he prefers blokes?
