I'm very excited! Australian BB06 started last night and that means we will be overdosing on television for the next few months. I will be posting my views on the latest happenings in the house and you are free to comment and tell me what you think.

Brad and others whom I don’t know (yet),
Good work on setting up the website.
I watched about half an hour of the introductory show last night. I was disappointed at how boring the housemates seem. Some might say one should not expect too much. The Big Brother producers (selection committee) have clearly whittled down their vision of their type of person that should appear on the show.
I was surprised at how wooden the housemates were when they were on stage being presented to the audience. Most were only capable of one word answers, or answers that were not in direct responses to the questions posed.
On the other hand I was surprised how quickly the housemates began talking to each other. I found the kissing hello etc etc all a little bit gross.
The guy who lost $10,000 will be up for nomination, but I don’t think he’ll be evicted.
I can imagine no quicker way to go insane than to spend fifteen minutes inside of the house.
If the AI were Big Brother, who would you nominate for eviction? hahahahahahahahaha. Perhaps we shouldn’t go there.

Thanks Andy. I must agree that at first they seem to be very much a replica of previous entrants. Nothing particularly new. But it’s early days and as we get to know them, hopefully some interesting characteristics will reveal themselves. I for one find it interesting when these ‘confident’ people start showing neuroses. But that might just be me.
Brad.

I only watch the launch show to match names to faces. I do not expect an insight into the housemates’ personalities so I was not as disappointed as Andy.Defintiely saw more breast than I bargained for with, was it Anna? I was suprised to see more promo models (I was unaware that such a career existed until last year’s BB) and and no hairdresser on board. What will they do?
As for the AI comment … not going there!!!

I thinks it’s funny that Anna let her breast out at the launch but in the house, she’s covering up in the shower.

Love your work Brad and the idea of this blog!!!
I feel I haven’t watched enough of the show to comment yet, but I defintitely intend to put my two bob in. I was at my Aunty’s for Orthodox Easter dinner so was watching the launch show in dribs and drabs and was out Monday night too, so last night was the first time I could watch it but in a heavily editied 30 minute show, I came out with nothing!! I suspected David was gay but it wasn’t until I got on BB website this morning that apparently I am the last to know. I am proud of myself though that I picked there was a mother/daughter relationship – the mother looks too much like Shania Twain so everytime she comes on the tele, the song “That don’t impress me much” comes blaring through my head!!!

“That Don’t Impress Me Much.” Pops into my head too, but not for the same reasons!!!
