The nominees for eviction this week are…
- Camilla
- Dino
- Jade
- John
- Krystal
Gretel told us last night that it was the first time that housemates faces and percentages had been shown before a vote was finalised. Was this because they wanted to raise more cash?
Forgive me for being cynical, but I think it’s wrong to allow the viewers to nominate housemates for eviction.
I don’t believe that John or Krystal are ‘flying under the radar’ and it was unfair to have them up for this vote based on the results of a cheesy lie detector. I can’t believe that Ashley and Gaelan netted so few of the votes. Ashley is pretty bland and Gaelan is flying so low, he’s a worm burner. I don’t blame John for being pissed off about being nominated.
As it’s a double eviction this week, my tips are Jade (easy) and Camilla (not so easy guess).
SAVE JOHN!

The Official Big Brother website has finally stated that John has a mild case of Tourettes Syndrome. I have known about this for a little while, but not as a fact.
John told the other housemates about this on day 8 in the house and it has taken this long for it to become common knowledge. He has the condition under control now, but it wasn’t easy when he was younger.
I am glad that it is out in the open as I was getting annoyed at the live audience laughing whenever he had a facial tic.

He is the only housemate to continue to make waves after being evicted from the house. I was surprised how upset and defensive Gretel Killeen became when Michael talked about how the footage of him and David was edited to make it look more suspect than it actually was.
At least they actually showed the complete footage at the end of the show. But I am sure what we saw last night was at a different angle and not as prone to interpretation.
Stay tuned tomorrow for the Nominations write up. Remember, don’t vote for an under the radar person.

Well, we finally saw the footage. A lot more happened than I thought. Gaelan was more into it than I thought he would be, but still exercised a lot of restraint. I think in his situation I would have done the same… being on TV and all.
Krystal must have been quite drunk with those pissy eyes and her gibberish cracked me up. I do wonder if she is planning a career as an adult entertainer with her conditioner on the tits routine. Maybe Gaelan and her could be a double act!

So much for the Australian First. It was pretty weak I think.
Wow! (sarcasm), they put the housemates through a piss weak lie detector with questions that were in poor taste.
Over at behindbigbrother.com, the forums are full of people annoyed at the weakness of the promise of a 'twist that will blow us away.' The cynical view is that it's another excuse to get people to spend more money on voting. As suggested, we can easily send a message to Big Brother that this is a load of crap and boycott the vote.
Behind Big Brother also has an entry on the much lower than stated reliability of voice stress analysis as a means of lie detection. Gretel Killeen stated that the tests were 90% accurate in the interests of fairness to perceived lying from the housemates. But according to the American Polygraph Association the results are no better than chance.
The more I think about this, the angrier I get. Big Brother is an interesting show if only they stop trying to pump up the viewers all the time and just let us observe and enjoy the interaction of the housemates.
The sixth series certainly feels like the producers are taking Big Brother to it's natural conclusion.

What’s the deal with that kiss we saw last night on Truth, Lies and Eviction? Were there sparks starting to form with David and Michael, or was Michael once again trying to keep himself interesting enough to stay in the house?
I guess we’ll never know and because the time delay on footage reaching Adults Only is so long. It wasn’t a very good strategy for Mikey.
I don’t expect we’ll see anything on this until the Adults Only episode next week.

So long Mikey. You were an interesting character in this year’s Big Brother House. I think you made things interesting… but probably not in the way you thought you did.
The erratic behaviour, the torment of being the insider and wanting to be liked, the initial attraction to Krystal, the leanings toward madness, the imaginary son. You told us so much with your eyes it was ridiculous.
It will be interesting to see how the housemates change and who they will redirect their constant suspicion towards.

I can’t believe how stupid Krystal was to think that she could eat the chocolate she was supposed to hand back and not get caught by Big Brother. What’s going on in that head of hers?
Then as she stepped into the punishment room all of you FHM readers were treated to a blurry patch over her right breast. Is this what Krystal meant when asked if she would ever pose nude, she said “I like to leave something to the imagination.” What is it exactly Krystal?
Maybe we should start a campaign to raise money for swimming costumes that will actually cover Krystal’s tits. Is anyone with me on this, or are they happy as it currently stands? Comments are appreciated.

Are they hooking up? It’s interesting to watch how different the males with potential relationships are handling them in the house.
Katie and Jamie have pretty much become a married couple in the house. Is Jamie thinking that this will give him the best chance for a long term stay in the house? A la previous love stories from other seasons of BB?
Gaelan and Krystal aren’t going to be doing anything in the house, even if as Gaelan says, he’d like to. I think this is his strategy for survival. Why doesn’t anyone else see that Gaelan is the biggest game player in the house?
It remains to be seen how Dino will play it.
