Reuben, are you out there?

May 15, 2006

He continues to be the most interesting (or is that strangest?) person in the house.

Big Brother sets Michael the task of getting eight nominations for eviction on tonight's nomination show. What does he do to get the housemates to do this? Invents a whole elaborate story about how he has this eight (why eight?) year old son named Reuben whose parenthood has just come into question as he entered the Big Brother house.

The way he goes around to each housemate systematically and tells them the spiel is absolutely hilarious to watch… "Hey Man! Have I told you about my kid called Reuben yet?" Each time he tells the story it sounds less and less convincing. And then he finishes the story with: "I don't want to just leave the house, but I really should get out of here." It's like the person at a party who says, "I really must go", when they don't have anywhere to go.

If Michael really wanted to get at least eight evictions nominations tonight, he would tell the housemates this afternoon that he made Reuben up as a joke, because he is bored!! But I don't think he's that clever.

What’s wi’ dat?

I am still trying to work out what Krystal was thinking during her sales pitch on the Friday Night Games, when she started out selling a calculator and ended up shaking her ass and whipping it.

Is this all there is to her?  It sure seems that way.

And let’s not even go there with Michael’s sales pitch!

The Wedding of the Year

May 15, 2006

I couldn’t believe all of the relationship dramas and ultimately the wedding between Jamie and Katie on last night’s daily show.

It couldn’t have been scripted better to fit into the one hour timeslot.  Katie going cold on Jamie for perceived flirting (or flarting as Jamie would pronounce it!), the agony aunt discussions with BB by Jamie, the night of two strangers in a bed and the reconciliation with, Jamie saving the day by being a good communicator and the climax of a wedding.

What’s going on?  There wasn’t even a whiff of any of this Friday or earlier.

Adios Karen!

May 15, 2006

So, this week we say good bye to Karen.  And might I add, good riddance.  She was the most boring person to ever be on Big Brother.  And when I say that I’m not forgetting people like… well, I can’t remember any of them right now! ;-)

So far her voting margin has been the largest at 36%.  One of the nominees for eviction had a high rate of 2SAVE votes.  I am guessing it was Krystal and her army of FHM readers.
