Beannachd Leat Gaelan

July 3, 2006

So this week it was Gaelan to be evicted, and he got 51% of the merged vote! I’m quite surprised that the margin was so large, but considering it was his first time up for eviction, there wasn’t any information from the past to analyse.

Gaelan claims that he is the sort of person that avoids conflict. Maybe it’s true, but there were definitely times in the house where all housemates were participating in a discussion except for him. Everybody else seemed to be cool with this, but not sticking up for people when called for is a character flaw in my opinion.

I did enjoy the animated way Gaelan told stories. He seems to have a gift for physical comedy.

I saw his picture on a Piping Hot T-Shirt packet on the weekend. Maybe, he’ll go on to bigger and better things now… like a Myer Catalogue!

I was gobsmacked at the percentage of votes he received and happy that it was a clear cut eviction. He seemed okay on the eviction stage though. Not the annoying person I once thought him.

Good of him to leave the way he did after the weekend he must of had. At least he got some nifty prizes. He will probably be surprised by the firestorm of controversy that has swelled around the incident.

Wondering if its true that all the housemates use fake names when they enter that house? Saw on ninemsn today that John’s real name is Michael Bric- and Ash’s is michael too? do they all have fake names?

I think they only use fake names when they need to.

There were 3 Michaels in this series. The two that just got evicted and the knob that got kicked out weeks ago.

To avoid confusion during voting etc, they get some of them to change their names, either using their middle name, or making up a new one.

For the most part I think they use their real names.
