Nominations 11

July 11, 2006

The nominees this week are…

  • Camilla
  • Darren
  • David
  • Krystal

There was a brief moment in last night’s nomination show where I was worried that Darren being able to take three points from himself was going to save him from being up for eviction this week.  Fortunately, Camilla gave him two points and the rest as they say, is history.

What surprises me is that the housemates knowing that Darren was most likely to take the three points from himself could have nominated him strategically or otherwise to ensure that he did get nominated for eviction.  I don’t think he had any chance of winning, but I wouldn’t even let him get close to thinking it was a possibility.

I think it’s safe to say that Darren will be the person to leave the house on Sunday.

Yep, another no brainer this week, can’t wait to see the end of Darren’s stay. I’m even predicting a further two weeks of no brainer evictions with the two new intruders (sorry, ‘housemates’) set to go as quickly as they arrive.

i agree. it’s quite sad, on the first day Darren seemed to have so much potential but really he’s a bit of a creep

  3. range Says:

He is quite a creep. Should go back to school and get a life.

  4. range Says:

Yo Brad, with this many hits on yout BB website, you should find a way to make something more of it.

  5. Brad Says:

It’s pretty amazing isn’t it? I get a lot of traffic without many inward links. A lot of it is search engine traffic from people looking for pictures of Krystal!

  6. range Says:

Yeah, I get that too. It’s not like I’ve ever posted any pictures of the HM. Maybe you should look into getting some sponsors for the next season.

  7. Chris Says:

Hmmm… next season… wishful thinking there Range?

I would not be at all surprised if this is the last season. I get the impression most people are getting rather bored with the show – bored with the format, bored with the spectacular over-hype of every pathetic “twist” and “world first”, bored with the penny-pinching voting schemes etc. etc. Add in a bit of political preasure and things start to look quite… uncertain…

Just imagine if Richard Alston and Brian Haradine were still around – the show would have been axed immediately after the infamous Turkey Slap. If not sooner.

  8. Brad Says:

I agree Chris. If Big Brother 7 does see the light of day, I imagine it will be a different beast entirely.

I have read that Dreamworld plan to use the site for something else next year, so that would be the first change, Channel 10 originally took up a one year contract to produce BB then renewed for five years which makes next year the start of a new contract and as you have mentioned, political pressure… even though the government seems to be happy to allow ‘the market’ to regulate more and more elements in society each day, they can’t keep their nose out of things like this.

    Only time will tell.
