Hooroo Max and David

July 31, 2006

I wasn’t surprised to see Max evicted first, but I was suprised by David obviously.  The last week of BB is alway full of surprises and it can be very hard to pick who is going to receive the most votes.  Especially this year with the 2SAVE and EVICT votes in the mix.

I think both Max and David were good housemates.  I have said previously that I think Max would have gone at least this far if he had been in from the beginning.  David has been and endless source of drama in the house and quite an interesting person to observe with his personal code and morals.

Wasn’t David’s tearful reunion with Sharif spectacular? And a gay kiss to top it off.  I wonder if those fuddy duddies are up in arms about that happening on a family show with kids present?

It’s good this year that for deciding the ultimate winner, that viewers can both choose to 2SAVE and EVICT.  In previous years, it has been quite confusing when on the second last night viewers and voters are asked to vote for who they want to win after voting for who they want to evict all season.

Well, it’s the last few hours until we will know who wins.  It’s always a tough call, but I am going to stick to my guns and say that the winner will be Camilla.  Although, you never can tell, Jamie might just pull it off.

I was shocked at David’s eviction, I was certain he would be last two. And I can’t believe how first impressions can be so wrong with Max. At the start I thought he was a real tosser and came across that way, but by the end he is actually a big hearted fellow and decent underneath. Max needs to get rid of that initial bravado but I guess without it, he wouldn’t have got a look in for Big Brother. Having said this, the night belonged to David. I wondered if the infamous Sharif was going to make and appearance and talk about dramatic entrance and long embrace – I gotta say, I was cheerinig from the couch and getting caught up in it all.

So it’s between Jamie and Camilla. I personally think Camilla has done it the hardest and put herself on the line with her outspoken views and never backward in coming forward – so for that I say Go Camilla! It’s also a refreshing change to have a winner that wasn’t known as an ‘under the radar’ housemate and someone deserving will win (Jamie included here).
So bring on the fireworks and popcorn for a night in front of the tele with hopefully a female winner (and I don’t mean the semi-femme Jamie).

Even if Camilla was the more outspoken of the two, she has clearly shown in the last few weeks that she was playing the game, which in the end was enough to get Jamie ahead. Also, Jamie and Katie together whilst people are still voting, that must have helped him out, even if he didn’t have anything to do with it.

I liked Max. David has been getting on my nerves ever since he and Dazza had a gay platonic relationship going on. I just can’t stand Dazza, he has such an ugly personality.
