I can’t believe it! Wha’ happened? Are Max and Chris so insignificant on people’s radars that they don’t even warrant getting voted for?
It was one hell of a shock to see Claire and Krystal evicted from the house last night that I’m still getting over it!! The funniest thing was poor Max and Chris when they realised that they had both survived then had to reenter the house. I’m sure I heard Max say to Chris that he didn’t want to go back to them.
Don’t get me started about David and Camilla’s reactions to Max and Chris‘ reentry. Jamie did the ‘right’ thing and went up to hug them upon their return. All David and Camilla could do was howl at the moon and scream WHY!!!
That is funny television! We better be careful that one of the replacement housemates doesn’t take the prize.

Well, wasn’t that a dramatic family dinner on last night’s daily show?
David does seem to go a little mad when he is standing up to these people, but really, I can’t blame him. They would drive me crazy too. Sometimes it seems like the younger, cooler people are from a different planet. Did they really need to have the difference between hygiene and cleanliness explained to them? Especially in light of the rumour that tinea is rife in the house.
I was pleased to see that Claire finally spoke up about an issue… and then… Camilla decides to bare her teeth and accuses Claire of taking sides driving her into a fit of tears.
Krystal seems to like attacking David in particular. I think it’s because she considers David her biggest threat to winning Big Brother… or maybe she really doesn’t like being made to feel ‘insuperior.’
They are all immature. A mature person would actually consider the criticisms rather than trying to attack someone with whatever crap they can come up with.

I’m afraid I missed the daily show last night due to a plumbing task I had set for myself this week. So I will amuse you with some dialog from day 87 which may or may not have been on last night’s show.
The housemates are talking about automobile club roadside assistance…
Jamie compares BB’s voice to that of a voiceover for “RAC”. Krystal has no idea what RAC is. Jamie explains that it is roadside car assistance. “Ah, like NRMA,” says Krystal. “Do you have NRMA in Queensland?” Krystal calls out to Claire. “Yeah, the insurance,” shouts Claire from the dining room. Jamie and Krystal are now more confused. “What about RAC?” asks Jamie. “Yeah, the RACQ,” calls Claire. Jamie and Krystal just look at each other. “I think they are talking about something completely different,” says Jamie. They change subjects to driver’s licenses.
Fascinating eh? It’s a bit like Abbott and Costello’s famous ‘Who’s on First?’ routine, only like, real.

Camilla sure knows how to tell someone to ‘zipit’. Last night when she was talking about how she doesn’t even notice the cameras anymore and Chris interjected to say that she can’t speak for everyone, she completely slammed him, continued talking to Claire then walked out of the room without giving Chris any right of reply.
Now, I don’t like Chris and at this late stage of the series, I’m not really interested in getting to know either of the two replacement housemates, but I think Camilla’s behaviour was particularly rude. She is being extra cocky in light of her just finding out that she isn’t up for eviction this week.

That has to be nastiest three point deduction I’ve seen in a long time. Poor Jamie!
The evictees this week are…
- Chris
- Claire
- David
- Krystal
- Max
The only housemates spared are Jamie and Camilla. Looking on the bright side, Jamie didn’t bring himself into the list.
It was interesting that the replacement housemates, Max and Chris didn’t get too many votes from the original housemates. Max’s reason for nominating Chris was funny to watch! It also illustrates why we need a show to depict the characters in a less PG way. Chris saying that he doesn’t like fat women that are confident isn’t very nice and the viewers should be able to see that.
I think that now BB06 is drawing to a close, the 2SAVE votes are going to play a larger part in selecting which housemates are evicted. Maybe not this week, but the week after we will see a housemate that is evicted because they have fewer 2SAVE votes.
My prediction for eviction this week is Chris and Max. I can’t really stand watching them, I don’t know if anyone else can!

I was impressed by Claire’s intuition last night. When Big Brother told her that housemates were planning a mutiny for the Pirate Task and she could choose one person to make an example of. She chose Darren as the person most likely to cause trouble.
Who would have thought that Darren’s banishment to Dead Man’s Island would dredge up such bad feelings for him? It took him back to a time when he was misbehaving on school camp and a teacher made him sit outside which resulted in a case of mild hypothermia for the little tyke. I’m surprised he reacted like this as he was only outside for a half hour. That’s not very long.
It just goes to show you that even the most cocky and seemingly confident people have emotional achilles heels.

Well, wasn’t that a great hissy fit from David last night?
I think David’s problem is that he sometimes handles situtions that wrong way. Instead of taking a moron’s analysis of a situation to heart, he should let them have their opinion instead of trying to persuade them over to his point of view. When Perry said that she still thinks he is playing the game, David should simply reply yes I am. He doesn’t need to tell her that she is too. Surely he can see she is completely stark raving mad and that by trying to make her see his viewpoint, he is wasting his time.
I think David is being very emotional this week, but I am inclined to
think in his situation on last night’s daily show, I would have left.
Camilla, Krystal and Perry did gang up on him at dinner. Isn’t it interesting what happens when the majority slides over to the side of sugar and spice? Claire was very quiet through all of this and I think maybe she should have spoken up during the axis of bitchiness’ rant after dinner.
The other thing that really grates with me is when people say things like “Don’t tell me you’re life has been harder than mine, because you have no idea.” That’s not what David said at all, Krystal, maybe you should try listening more and shaking your ass less.

In all of this frenzied media surrounding the eviction of Ashley and John, my blog has rocketed to the number 4 position on WordPress.com’s top blogs. This is out of 243,000 blogs, so I am feeling pretty amazed! If the popularity of my blog can be correlated to that of the current series of Big Brother, this event is completely off the scale!
Since my last entry about this scandal, I have seen last night’s daily and eviction show, listen to conservatives crap on about axing the show and seen the actual footage with my own two eyes.
I think that they handled the daily show quite well in terms of explaining what transpired while being sensitive to the fact that children would be watching. What I couldn’t believe was how the housemates reacted. They were seemingly all comforting each other… except for Camilla. For Jamie, the whole incident seemed to be about him, which was in character. Perry did lot’s of mumsy type things. Claire felt sorry for Ashley and John, Gaelan didn’t say a damn thing and Krystal thought she could negotiate their return. David was criticised for not saying anything much, but I think he knew the whole thing wasn’t about him, he seemed to be the most concerned for Camilla.
There have been further calls by conservative politicians and the like for Big Brother to be axed. I can’t believe the kinds of issues that mobilise such passion in these people. Get a life. I don’t agree with what happened, but this is hardly the thing that is going to bring down our civilisation is it? Maybe you could focus on the fact that Global Warming is a reality and stop worrying about other (not you) people watching a television show.
I saw the footage thanks to a few commentors on this blog and found the behaviour dissapointing. John and Ashley seemed to conspire the situation in bed as a joke. There wasn’t any hyperactivity before it and Camilla seemed to suspect what they were going to do. Despite her protestations, she still got into the bed. I don’t think she was truly offended, but I think their activity was degrading towards her and they wouldn’t have done it to any of the other housemates.
This situation has boosted Big Brother’s popularity at time when interest was flagging. Will they bring new housemates in at this late stage? Or maybe bring back two previously evicted housemates. They could have phone vote for who to reinstate.

Last night we were treated to a one hour episode. It’s funny, it didn’t seem to be longer to fit more in. Maybe it had something to do with stopping viewers from switching over to watch the first episode of a new show on Channel 7. Or am I being cynical again?
We were treated to…
John’s mexican hat dance.
Krystal putting the hard word on Gaelan. Is that the most uninspiring relationship you’ve ever seen on television?
Ashley wanting to kiss Claire, while Camilla wanted to kiss Ashley. Man oh man! Talk about cringeworthy!
I think the traffic light task is okay, but have you noticed the amber light doesn’t get used?

The nominees for eviction this week are…
- Camilla
- David
- Gaelan
- Krystal
I couldn’t believe that David decided to give one nomination point to Camilla. So what! She was acting nice over the weekend to avoid getting nominated. Stone the crows David, would you really begrudge the woman a jolly week off from being nominated? Too Right!
I hope you’re feeling like shit in light of Camilla being dragged into the list after Claire’s three point deduction.
Finally, the viewers get a crack at evicting Gaelan. I know I would be happy for him to leave as I think he is the epitome of ‘under the radar’, so much so that nobody can see it! He is so good at keeping his mouth shut when he needs to and opening it to amuse the housemates, it is as if he has been studying how to win Big Brother under the instruction of Ben (BB01), Peter (BB02) and Trevor (BB04). People you can barely remember even though they were in the house longer than anybody else in their respective series.
My prediction for eviction is Krystal.
Vote to evict Gaelan!
