Eviction Eyewitness

May 22, 2006

I have a special treat from Ryan, one of our regular guests on BBBB. He was fortunate enough to be at eviction show number two and see Karen leave the house with his very own eyes.

His report of the action behind the scenes follows…

EYE WITNESS REPORT

The whole BB experience was very interesting, first of all having to line up for about 30 mins outside before the show.  Once inside got our seats and we had a few people dresssed up in outfits in our row, it didn’t take long for the crew of BB to take them from their seats and put them in the front row! Lucky bastards!!! Mike Goldman was the rev up man in between breaks and offering bribes to get the crowd to go nuts, it seemed to work as I almost lost my hearing! As you said (BBBB) it was no suprise that Karen was out and she was just as boring on stage as she was in the house.

The funny thing about the whole show was that you didn’t have much interaction with Gretel and what you saw was very mechanical, Mike was much more fun and down to earth. It comes across on screen as if Gretel is a god, how wrong could it be!!!

Overall it was a fun time but would’nt do it again, you can see a lot more on the box.

Thanks Ryan!!

Adios Karen!

May 15, 2006

So, this week we say good bye to Karen.  And might I add, good riddance.  She was the most boring person to ever be on Big Brother.  And when I say that I’m not forgetting people like… well, I can’t remember any of them right now! ;-)

So far her voting margin has been the largest at 36%.  One of the nominees for eviction had a high rate of 2SAVE votes.  I am guessing it was Krystal and her army of FHM readers.

Deal With The Devil

May 11, 2006

Not much happened on the daily show last night that is worth commenting on. The only two things worth mentioning are Big Brother’s two $5,000 fines for Karen, who in her own words has “only a three second attention span.” and Michael’s big meal in the Diary Room.

The combination of fines and punishment don’t seem to be helping the housemates reduce the number of rule breaches. I wonder how this will play out?

Nominations 2

May 9, 2006

So this weeks nominees for eviction are…

  • Karen
  • Krystal
  • Camilla

The housemates have sure hit out at Karen’s obvious intentions for winning Big Brother.  I couldn’t believe it when she asked the housemates to admit if there was no prize money left, would they still be interested in being in the house.

My tip for eviction this week is Karen, but for some reason, I think she will be saved by 2SAVE votes, so my plan B is Camilla.

Tilli and Elise

May 8, 2006

So we say goodbye to Tilli and Elise.

The EVICT and 2SAVE options have changed the complexion of evictions, and might make predicting who leaves more difficult in the future.

I can't wait to see how Karen and Krystal go this week without Tilli. I imagine they will feel very hard done by and that it should have been Anna and/or Camilla that were kicked out of the house.

Elise is gone and as most predict, I think there will be minimal impact to the character of the house. This is an interesting evolution in the viewers and participants of Big Brother this year, as blandness has always been rewarded in previous years.

Do You Want To Chat?

May 5, 2006

Karen and Krystal’s chat with Anna was hard to watch last night.  It seemed more like Karen just wanted to tell Anna she was wrong and then walk off.

Anna was able to look after herself, but it upset her a lot.  I hoped that someone might have offered to sit in as a mediator, I don’t think Anna was able to properly communicate how stupid it all was.  Krystal’s crap about how Karen doesn’t dislike anybody and the ‘how could you? after she took you under her wing.’ stuff was a bit hard to take.

The Outsiders

May 4, 2006

I was amused to see the footage of Michael, Karen, Tilli and Krystal in the sauna last night.  It is amazing how this revenge room strategy of BB’s has marginalised Karen, Tilli and Krystal.

Tilli sure sounded like a spoilt brat when she said “I want to get back at them and I want them gone, because they shouldn’t even be here.”

I’ve got news for you Tilli, you’ll be gone before any of them.

I Can’t Be The Same Around You Now

May 2, 2006

I cracked up laughing as Dino said this on the daily show last night to Krystal.  ‘We just want to have fun, and you’ve brought your mum into the house.’  Krystal didn’t seem too happy to hear it.

And when Krystal was proudly telling Michael that it was ‘Okay if you were checking out my mum, it happens all the time.’  I laughed when he replied blankly that he wasn’t.  It appears that Krystal doesn’t seem anywhere near as attractive as she might have earlier.

Nominations

May 2, 2006

So, this week’s nominees for eviction are:

  • Michael
  • Claire
  • Dino
  • Elise
  • Tilli

The pressure cooker atmosphere of the nomination process should be interesting to watch in the coming weeks.  I was amused by how hard BB was pushing them.

My highlights were Karen when she said she was nominating Michael for going under the radar because “he is giving everyone a hard time and you know, going under the radar”.  Is she thick or what?  The other funny one was when Claire was nominating Ashley and couldn’t remember his name.  What a classic!

It will be interesting to see how the dual voting system goes for eviction versus saving.

My pick for eviction is Tilli.  She’s going down!

Michael’s Face

May 1, 2006

It was hilarious watching Michael’s face after the announcement by Krystal that Karen is her mother.  I would like to know what the other housemates thought of his reaction… if any of them noticed.

I don’t really like Michael much, but he is enjoyable to watch in the house and he seems to get into most scenes of the daily show.
