What’s wi’ dat?

May 15, 2006

I am still trying to work out what Krystal was thinking during her sales pitch on the Friday Night Games, when she started out selling a calculator and ended up shaking her ass and whipping it.

Is this all there is to her?  It sure seems that way.

And let’s not even go there with Michael‘s sales pitch!

Deal With The Devil

May 11, 2006

Not much happened on the daily show last night that is worth commenting on. The only two things worth mentioning are Big Brother’s two $5,000 fines for Karen, who in her own words has “only a three second attention span.” and Michael‘s big meal in the Diary Room.

The combination of fines and punishment don’t seem to be helping the housemates reduce the number of rule breaches. I wonder how this will play out?

The Outsiders

May 4, 2006

I was amused to see the footage of Michael, Karen, Tilli and Krystal in the sauna last night.  It is amazing how this revenge room strategy of BB’s has marginalised Karen, Tilli and Krystal.

Tilli sure sounded like a spoilt brat when she said “I want to get back at them and I want them gone, because they shouldn’t even be here.”

I’ve got news for you Tilli, you’ll be gone before any of them.

How Long Can Michael Take It?

May 4, 2006

Michael is copping it quite hard at the moment.  After the sabotage of the clown task, the housemates all suspect a mole and he is the only one they suspect.  He is fighting hard to deny all of the accusations, but I don’t know how much more Big Brother can ask him to do.

Last night on the daily show, Dino was saying ‘we all think you’re the mole, but don’t get offended if we’re wrong.’  What a lovely disclaimer!

What if someone said to you, “I think you’re an idiot, but don’t be offended if I’m wrong.”

I Can’t Be The Same Around You Now

May 2, 2006

I cracked up laughing as Dino said this on the daily show last night to Krystal.  ‘We just want to have fun, and you’ve brought your mum into the house.’  Krystal didn’t seem too happy to hear it.

And when Krystal was proudly telling Michael that it was ‘Okay if you were checking out my mum, it happens all the time.’  I laughed when he replied blankly that he wasn’t.  It appears that Krystal doesn’t seem anywhere near as attractive as she might have earlier.

Nominations

May 2, 2006

So, this week’s nominees for eviction are:

  • Michael
  • Claire
  • Dino
  • Elise
  • Tilli

The pressure cooker atmosphere of the nomination process should be interesting to watch in the coming weeks.  I was amused by how hard BB was pushing them.

My highlights were Karen when she said she was nominating Michael for going under the radar because “he is giving everyone a hard time and you know, going under the radar”.  Is she thick or what?  The other funny one was when Claire was nominating Ashley and couldn’t remember his name.  What a classic!

It will be interesting to see how the dual voting system goes for eviction versus saving.

My pick for eviction is Tilli.  She’s going down!

Michael’s Face

May 1, 2006

It was hilarious watching Michael‘s face after the announcement by Krystal that Karen is her mother.  I would like to know what the other housemates thought of his reaction… if any of them noticed.

I don’t really like Michael much, but he is enjoyable to watch in the house and he seems to get into most scenes of the daily show.

World First is Boring

April 28, 2006

So far, I have to say that the world first of having a mother and daughter in the house has been boring.  So boring in fact that very little of Karen and Krystal‘s interactions have been included in the daily shows.  They tried to claim that Karen was chaperoning one of Krystal’s conversations, but I don’t feel that I have been drawn into sharing their secret with them.

Perhaps it might have been smarter of Big Brother to actually tell Michael what the relationship was and then see how uncomfortable the Insider could make things for them without actually making any accusations.

The Insider’s Hunk Challenge

April 27, 2006

Wow, what a crappy challenge for BB to set Michael.  After asking Michael who he thinks is the most hunky (Jamie) and least hunky (Ashley), BB asks Michael to ensure that these results are enforced in the shortly to be announced line up task for the housemates.  I felt bad for Michael watching him try to arrange the guys.

Is this the best that Big Brother can come up with for the Insider?

David Comes Out

April 27, 2006

According to the BB website, David has now admitted to the housemates that he is gay.  It looks like his ‘secret’ (all four days of it) hasn’t backfired and everyone seems to be kind and accepting.  Camilla initially was upset with the news and felt deceived, but later on she seems cool with it and is shifting into ‘girlfriend’ mode.  David tells her he is attracted to Dino, Michael and most of all Jamie.
